Co-promotor
Alexander Teplenin (PhD student)
Alexander (Sasha) Teplenin obtained his MSc degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in Russia. He has specialized in cardiac tissue engineering and studying excitation waves in artificial cardiac constructs. During his PhD training he will utilize various optogenetic tools for investigating new strategies to study and treat cardiac arrhythmias.PhD thesis: Application of in-silico and in-vitro optogenetic tools to cardiac arrhythmia research (link to thesis)
